AAAPRA connects and advances Asian American
professionals in the communications industry by holding networking events and
information or cultural programs that serve our goals of establishing
networks, enhancing careers, and encouraging professional advancement
- Who attend your events?
AAAPRA events target professionals who are currently employed or engaged in
advertising, public relations, marketing and related fields. Students
exploring careers in the communications industry are also part of our
audiences.
- How many members do you have?
In the past, AAAPRA had more than 150 paid individual members and currently is
looking to rejuvenate the organization by recruiting more active
professionals.
- Are you a non-profit organization?
Yes. Our tax ID# is 95-4397185.
- Where do you get your
contributions from?
AAAPRA’s funding is based on membership fees and donations from corporations
that endorse our goals and objectives.
- Who works for you?
AAAPRA runs on volunteer support by nine committee members. In the near
future, there will be a formal electoral process to establish a board and
officers. The Board of Directors will consist of a maximum of 20 members,
which includes the seven principal officers.
